Safety.Science aims to support the advancement of Integrated Safety (Integraal Veiligheid) by publishing short, accessible and analytically grounded contributions from academia, industry, safety regions and government.
The journal focuses on work that connects technical, human, organisational, digital and environmental aspects of safety, and that helps different disciplines and sectors learn from each other.
Submissions may be written in English or Dutch. For Dutch-language submissions, an English abstract is requested.

Safety.Science works with a variety of contribution types, including:

Integrated Safety requires different depths of analysis and different perspectives. The journal therefore remains flexible in length and format, as long as the contribution is clear, focused and relevant.
